Lead Fully Charged

Awareness Energy Narrative

The world has been remapped. Disruption is the baseline, ambiguity is the weather — and your leadership needs to become the lighthouse. Steady, composed, and leading fully charged.

"In a world where artificial intelligence can process, predict, and optimise, what remains irreducibly human is the capacity to feel into a room, to carry voltage that others follow, and to tell the story that makes people willing to move." Lead Fully Charged

For leaders who know their impact
is expanded from within

Lead Fully Charged is built for leaders who know that their impact is expanded by working on their inner state — who wish to expand their awareness, charge up their energy for leadership, and create a narrative of coherence, momentum, and clarity.

What it means to lead
fully charged

01

Awareness

Notice what is happening in you as you lead.

Awareness is the capacity to expand beyond yourself — outward and concentrically. To the individual in front of you: that is empathy. To the many around you: that is reading the room. Most leadership development stays inside the leader. This work moves outward from the first moment.

It means developing the ability to sense and respond to what is actually happening.

The leader who cannot feel beyond themselves cannot truly lead anyone beyond where they already are.

02

Energy

Regulate your energy and recover your clarity, even under load.

People need to understand strategy — but what they follow is energy, voltage, and initiative. They follow the charge of the person leading them. A leader's energy becomes, unconsciously and inevitably, the energy of the room — charging everyone around them, or depleting them.

We have the ability to charge a room or to deplete it. That is not incidental. It is a choice. And when we hold the image of the lighthouse — steady, radiating, unwavering in the storm — we understand what that choice looks like in practice. The lighthouse does not dim to meet the weather. It elevates.

This is the energy this work is about — not just present, but deliberately chosen, sustained, and set high.

03

Narrative

Shape the story you are telling — to yourself and to every stakeholder watching.

Human beings have always made meaning through story. Long before data, long before strategy decks, there was the story told around the fire that determined what the group believed was possible. What a leader narrates, people begin to inhabit.

The question is not whether a leader is telling a story — they always are. The question is whether it is the one they mean to tell, and whether it is the one their people need to hear.

The leader who can shape narrative can shape what the organisation believes is possible.

The iEQ9
Enneagram

The assessment at the heart of the awareness work is the iEQ9 — one of the most rigorously validated Enneagram instruments available. Unlike personality tools that describe preferences, the Enneagram reveals how a leader habitually moves through the world: their natural strengths, the blind spots that emerge when those strengths are over-leveraged, and the specific developmental path that opens when they can see themselves with genuine clarity.

Leaders recognise themselves in it. And often, for the first time, they understand why they do what they do — particularly under pressure, when the habitual self is most visible and most costly.

The Workshop Path

The Fully Charged Leader

One day in-house · Enterprise groups · Fully bespoke

A full day designed around the specific people in the room and the specific moment the organisation is navigating. Built on the three dimensions of awareness, energy, and narrative — and using the iEQ9 Enneagram as the primary lens of self-knowledge.

This is not a generic leadership day. Every element is designed for your organisation, your language, your priorities.

  • iEQ9 Enneagram assessment and personal debrief for each participant
  • Expanding awareness — from self to individual to room
  • Raising energy — entrainment, voltage, and energetic leadership
  • Shaping narrative — the story leaders carry and how to change it
  • Optional team-level Enneagram debrief
  • The Fully Charged Planner — a bespoke 90-day tool for each leader

"This is not about learning tools. It is about becoming a leader who changes rooms."

Catherine is an exceptional leadership consultant. I had the pleasure of working with her for three years while running Intelligent Labs and can honestly say her insight was often the thing that shifted my thinking and ultimately our culture. She doesn't just coach — she challenges, provokes and elevates, and does so with remarkable warmth.

The road
less travelled

Three countries. Multiple industries. Language learning, IT recruitment, therapy, project management, theatre, storytelling, podcasting — and fifteen years ago, to organisational leadership work. Each layer informed the next. None of it was wasted.

Along the way she learned things you can't get from a textbook. That people don't fail to learn because they lack intelligence — they fail because exposure threatens self-esteem, safety and control. That under pressure, character matters more than knowledge. That culture fit is as important as skill set.

"The greatest instrument of change isn't the technique. It's the willingness to change — and the quality of listening that makes it possible."

Theatre taught her that the people on stage perform because the people backstage have got their back. She's had her own Waterloo moments. She brings those too. The best job she ever got came from having a flat tyre.

She co-facilitated the Confident Leadership Programme for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. She directed a conference of 26 speakers — many unused to online delivery — for an audience of 800, turning it from in-person to online in six weeks. Most recently she has designed and facilitated three major enterprise leadership programmes for organisations navigating a world in flux.

Today she works with leaders navigating the parts of change that are genuinely hard — the pace, the uncertainty, the decisions nobody prepared them for.

Warm, direct, caring.
Intuitive in the room.
Serious about the work.
